Splendid comeback of Sabor a Cabo 2023! 

Among all the gastronomic events positioned in Los Cabos, without a doubt Sabor a Cabo is already an icon of gastronomy throughout Baja California and Mexico. The wait is over, after 2019, the festival is back celebrating its XV edition this year with three essential ingredients: gastronomy, entertainment and music. 

The President of Sabor a Cabo Giammarco Vela thanked the various actors in society that make the reactivation possible: firstly, CANIRAC Los Cabos with the coordination in kind and culinary talent of the chefs; the Los Cabos Hotel Association, which will once again have participating restaurants and hotel rooms for guest chefs; Baja Wines, company in charge of coordinating wine houses; the State Tourism Trust; Municipal Council, with the cancellation of taxes on ticketing and tansit safety logistic for the event; the national production company Creatividad and the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, which joins in all the logistics and international promotion. 

Sabor a Cabo, being a culinary event that marks a watershed in the destination, received the first Culinary Awards “Culinary Trajectory” in 2018, recognizing it as a visionary event, and applauding the efforts of the founding partners: Edith Jimenez, Jacobo Turquie, Carmen Carbajal, Ulises Mendez, Denis Gabriel, Luis Alvarado, Jorge Viaña, Billy Lagarde and Giammarco Vela.

The gastronomic competition returns! 

The president of Club Vatel Los Cabos, Edgar Román will serve as coordinator of culinary experiences, the chef shared that the live cooking show would be back with 6 restaurants of the CANIRAC delighting the attendees in a fascinating contest. The jury of the competition will welcome the gastronomic critic Marco Beteta, the distinguished Chef Cipriano, and Guy Santoro, president of Club Vatel Mexico. 

The program will include a concert by Colombian artist “Juanes” at 9 pm and will continue with a guest DJ starting at 11 pm, revealed Juan Carlos Lozano, producer of the event. Ticket sales will be available online at www.saboracabo.in starting Friday, September 1. As always, proceeds from Sabor a Cabo will benefit the Los Cabos Fire Department and Los Cabos Red Cross.

The teamwork of all the companies, included in the Tourism Promotion Trust, are of great importance for the reactivation of the event.” highlighted Mauricio Salicurp, president of the board of directors of the Los Cabos Hotel Association. 

On the night of December 2nd, the star will be the gastronomy starting at 5:00 in the afternoon, when over 50 restaurants + 40 wine labels will delight 3,000 expected attendees at the Club Campestre San José del Cabo golf course.
