Food & Travel recognizes Los Cabos gastronomy in its awards

Celebrating the culinary talent and diversity of Los Cabos, two of our Culinary Awards winners were recognized last night at the 8th. edition of the Reader Awards by the magazine specialized in travel and gastronomy Food & Travel.

Within the Chef of the Year category, Javier Plascencia received the award for his restaurants Finca Altozano in Ensenada, Animalón in Cabo San Lucas and Jazamango in Todos Santos. While, in 2022, chef Javier Plascencia had won the Culinary Awards Culinary Experience San José del Cabo in the City award for the Semillón restaurant.

Javier Plascencia is a great promoter of cooking with local products and we join in the applause for his culinary proposals that highlight ingredients from the region.

Likewise, and contributing to the innovative gastronomic proposals of Los Cabos and Mexico, NAO received recognition as the best New Restaurant in all of Mexico. Congratulations to Chef Alex Branch!

We remember that NAO celebrated its second year of operations and was awarded in our Culinary Awards 2022 as New Restaurant of the Year in the City and also as Culinary Experience: Tourist Corridor in the City. While in 2023 it was awarded in the Design, setting and atmosphere in the city category, and also for Tourist Corridor in the City.

Without a doubt, they are culinary options that you should have on your radar to try this year!
