This collaboration highlights the best of local mixology and gastronomy, offering tequila and food lovers the opportunity to vote for their favorite creations.

RDLF Mixology

Category for cocktails made with Platino and Reposado tequila

In this category, bars and restaurants in Los Cabos compete to create the perfect cocktail using Reserva de la Familia José Cuervo Platino or Reposado. Participants must craft innovative drinks that highlight the unique flavors of these tequilas, offering a luxurious experience in every sip.

Awards

  • All-expenses-paid trip for 2 people to La Rojeña to experience “from field to bottle”
  • Includes round-trip flights, transportation from GDL airport to Tequila and back, accommodation in Tequila, Jalisco, and breakfasts for both guests + the full experience (3 days).

RDLF Pairing

Agave-Savory Pairing Category with Reserva de la Familia Cristalino / Agave-Chocolate Pairing with Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo

Chefs from the region will craft perfect pairings that combine exquisite dishes with the unparalleled flavor of Reserva de la Familia José Cuervo Cristalino or Extra Añejo. Whether it’s a savory dish or a chocolate dessert, each pairing must deliver a burst of flavors that pays tribute to the richness of agave.

If you are already a Culinary Awards participant and wish to join these categories

To participate in the exclusive RDLF Mixology and RDLF Pairings categories of the Culinary Awards Los Cabos 2025, it is essential to meet the following requirements:

All participants must be enrolled and registered in the Culinary Awards to be eligible for either of the two categories.

Each participant must include the following hashtags in their social media posts:
  • #CulinaryAwards
  • #ReservaDeLaFamilia
  • #LujoArtesanal
In addition, it is necessary to mention the official websites:
Participating venues must include all four variants of Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia in their offering:
  • Platino
  • Reposado
  • Cristalino
  • Extra Añejo
Note: If any of these variants are not available, the organization will provide them.
  • RDLF Mixology:
    • Cocktails must be prepared exclusively with Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Platino or Reposado.
    • It must be clearly stated in the posts that the cocktail is made with one of these tequilas.
  • RDLF Pairings:
    • The pairing must include the dish or dessert served with a glass of Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Cristalino or Extra Añejo, as applicable.

It is essential that the participating cocktail or pairing is promoted on the venue’s menu through an insert that highlights its participation in the Culinary Awards.

The venue must post on its social media the cocktail or pairing it is offering so that the public can vote on the official Culinary Awards website. Make sure to include all the details so voters can learn about your creation and feel inspired to vote for you.
