Culinary Awards 2023 winners cooking for a cause in “Tacos, Tostadas y Tequila”

Altruistic events bring people together with the aim of generating a positive impact on the society we live in. Los Cabos has always stood out for being a destination whose events support a social cause. That is why renowned chefs & restaurants proudly join in when it comes to benefiting others.

On January 24, two winning restaurants from our 2023 edition prepared delicious dishes along with a pairing at the great event Tacos, Tostadas y Tequila to raise funds for the Liga MAC educational program.

Nick-San, winner of the Chef of the Year and Culinary Achievement categories, orchestrated by chef Ángel Carbajal, delighted the palates of foodies with a fish pate toast, accompanied by Casa Luna Sauvignon Blanc.

Nao, winner of the categories Design, Setting and Atmosphere in the City & People´s Choice on the Tourist Corridor was represented by Chef Alex Branch “Las Venenosas Tostadas”, with a cauliflower tikka toast.

Attendees enjoyed an unforgettable outdoor culinary experience in Baja Luna, all for the benefit of the young students of the Liga MAC Educational Strengthening Program.

Elva Haro, executive director of Liga MAC, highlighted the performance of the students, who have made the most of the academic opportunities within the foundation. She thanked those in attendance and extended the invitation to visit the new Educational Center, a space that runs orientation programs, student and family counseling, and student ceremonies.

Without a doubt, Culinary Awards competitors are leaving a culinary mark on society!
